In a recent evaluation of prisoner reentry programs titled, Reentry – Helping Former Prisoners Return To Communities: A Guide to Key Ideas, Effective Approaches, and Technical Assistance Resources, the Annie E. Casey Foundation explains “community-based organizations often must play a catalytic role in the discharge process and serve as the link between prison and reentry into the community.” The Helping Offenders Permanently Exit prison (HOPE) program aims to play that catalytic role for offenders exiting prisons in Florida.

Having a good understanding of these sites, how they operate, and the appropriate etiquette.
Computer Basics – This course shows students how to connect to the Internet; browse Web sites; use search engines; exchange e-mail and instant messages with others; explore the features of online communities and it explains how Web authoring software is used to create and publish Web pages.
